Welcome to Cape Town & Garden Route Tours, a division of Rawson Touring. We are passionate about creating unforgettable travel experiences across Cape Town, the Garden Route, and beyond. By making a booking with us, you agree to the Terms and Conditions outlined below. Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions
Company / We / Us: Refers to Cape Town & Garden Route Tours, a division of Rawson Touring. Client / You: Any person making or intending to make a booking. Tour: Any travel service, package, or activity offered. Booking: A confirmed reservation made with the Company. Price: Total cost of the Tour. Force Majeure: Events beyond our control such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government actions.
2. Bookings & Reservations
- All tours are subject to availability
- Bookings are confirmed only after written confirmation and payment
- The person booking accepts these Terms for all travellers
- Clients must ensure all details are correct
- Special requests must be made at booking (not guaranteed)
3. Payment Policy
- 3.1 Multi-Day Tours: 25% non-refundable deposit required. Balance due 15 days before departure. Failure to pay may result in cancellation.
- 3.2 Day Tours: No deposit required. Reserve Now, Pay Later may be available. Full payment due 72 hours before tour. Non-payment may lead to cancellation.
- 3.3 General: Prices in ZAR (South African Rand). VAT included where applicable. Prices may change before confirmation.
4. Cancellation by Client
- All cancellations must be in writing.
- Cancellation Fees: 15+ days: Deposit lost. 12–8 days: 50% charged. 7–5 days: 75% charged. <5 days or no-show: 100% charged.
- No refunds for unused services. Tailor-made tours may have different terms.
- Day Tours: Free cancellation up to 35 hours before departure.
5. Changes & Cancellation by Company
- Tours may be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Clients will receive a full refund or alternative tour option.
- We may adjust itineraries if necessary. Major changes allow for refund or alternative option.
6. Client Responsibilities
- Ensure valid travel documents (passport, visas)
- Be responsible for personal health
- Maintain respectful behavior
- Personal belongings are at your own risk
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended
7. Liability
We are not liable for loss, injury, or delays caused by third-party actions or Force Majeure events. Liability is limited to the amount paid. Tours are undertaken at your own risk.
8. Complaints
Report issues during the tour immediately. If unresolved, submit a formal complaint within 30 days.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
10. Data Protection
We process personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy.
11. Amendments
We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version applies to all bookings.
